Baubles, Bling, and Sapphire Earrings

Of all the lovely gemstones in the world, nothing makes my heart skip a beat quite like a sapphire…  the rich blue tone speaks to my soul.  These earrings are my current favorites.  Each one features a round sapphire as the center stone.  These two stones have a combined total weight of approximately 1.50 carats.  Surrounding these hypnotic gems are thirty-two round brilliant diamonds.  These diamonds have a total weight of .50 carat.  The diamonds are set in a scalloped pattern with a delicate milgrain edge, giving them a decidedly vintage feel, although they are brand new.  

Look how clever!  These beauties are actually separate studs and jackets.  Wear the sapphires alone for a classic look or insert them into the diamond jackets for a little extra sparkle.  Other centers can be combined with the diamond portion for an infinite number of options…  add a diamond, a pearl, a ruby, an emerald, or perhaps an onyx bead.  Amethyst, aquamarine, topaz or garnet – the possibilities are as endless!
