The pendant itself offers whimsical, modern charm. A stylized swirl unwinds from a small curl at the top to a wider, sweeping tail at the bottom. Pavé-set within this 18-karat white gold whirligig are forty round brilliant diamonds that have a combined weight of .85 carats. The bail itself is hinged, allowing it to open. Once opened, the pendant can be clasped onto a strand of pearls instead of a chain.
