High Maintenance?

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and Pristine Rings

A wedding band is the most significant piece of jewelry you will ever wear.  Most people are incredibly attached to their band; some never take it off.  Until they have to…  usually for sizing or repair.  I have had customers employ some bizarre tactics to get a too-small ring off, everything from slathering their finger with saliva to squirting some Windex on the ring to help it slide over the knuckle.  Occasionally, a ring is SO tight that we actually have to cut it off.  Imagine a tiny saw-blade zipping through these beautiful scrolls and swirls.

Wedding bands have evolved over the years – plain gold bands are no longer the norm.  Bands are often bedazzled with diamonds or gemstones like sapphires, rubies, and emeralds.  Sometimes they feature design techniques like a beaded milgrain edge, open filigree work, or a brushed satin finish, like each of these.

While these rings are crafted with care and designed for daily wear, they still need regular check-ups.  At Joden, we always recommend routine maintenance…  twice a year is a good rule of thumb.  Our team includes two master craftsman with over 75 years of combined experience.  Their savvy skills will keep your jewelry looking like new, even if it’s over 100 years old.

Come to Joden, where our expertise is your advantage.  Click on the photos to get all the details about the gorgeous bands shown here.  And don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter and have Joden Girl delivered straight to your inbox.

The Power of Three

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and  Three Stone Rings

Call it lucky.  Maybe even magical.  There’s no denying that the number three is symbolic.  Many notions have been associated with the number…  everything from religious connotations to ancient superstition.  The ideas have even permeated the jewelry world.  Three stone rings have often been described as “Past, Present, and Future” pieces.  So, whether it’s the symbolism that draws you in or simply the intrinsic beauty, these rings are just too good to miss!

This stunning trio offers all the best elements of the early 1900’s – handcrafted design, expertly executed filigree work, and a perfectly placed pop of color.  Factor in the “three-stone” element, then ask yourself this…  “What’s not to love?”

Get an eyeful of this little enchantress!  Milgrain details bring delicate filigree edges to life with tiny hand-faceted beads that sparkle like diamonds.  To fashion that “three stone” style, the center diamond is flanked by a pair of French cut synthetic blue sapphires (Many people don’t know that synthetic stones were common during the Art Deco period!).  The burst of blue makes the ring even more enticing.  Available now for just $1100.00.

Soft white gold blends with the warmth of yellow gold to create this classic beauty.  The ring sparkles with a pair of European Cut diamonds and a synthetic ruby center.  Four leaf-life accents perform supporting roles, each one with a faceted diamond center.  Go to our site and check it out for yourself.

If you love vintage jewelry, but color isn’t your thing, then this third ring is the charm!  From the heart of the Art Deco period, you’ll love the graceful lines of this elegant ring.  Three Old European Cut diamonds set across the top give this piece that time-honored “three stone” appeal.  This ring is a perfect fit for just $900.00.

On the count of three, come to Joden and make one of these rings yours!  And don’t forget to subscribe to Joden Girl to have it delivered straight to your inbox.  Just click on the newsletter link and sign-up now.

Go Green

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and Emerald Rings

Wednesday was my birthday – the 31st of May…  making emerald my birthstone.  It’s rare that I find a piece of emerald jewelry that appeals to me, and when I do – the price usually exceeds my comfort zone.

To be considered fine quality, these gems must exemplify two attributes – an intense green hue that can only be described as “emerald green” and a high degree of transparency.  Stones like this are rare.  And usually quite expensive.  So, when I saw this little beauty – I was pleasantly surprised.  I love the whimsical flower design (of course!) – AND it’s affordable.

White gold, natural pear-shaped emeralds, and tiny diamond accents combine perfectly to create this five-petal blossom.  For me, it’s a right hand ring… I love the way it looks on a middle finger!  You will, too.  Go to our site and check it out.

If you’re looking for a classic style, these two pieces are ideal.  Both rings feature delicate diamond halos encircling round emeralds – traditional elegance with a bright pop of color.  Choose one for your right hand, or your left…  you can’t go wrong!

Now that you’re positively green with envy – go to our site and turn ours into yours!  Get Joden Girl delivered right to your inbox by clicking on the newsletter link and subscribing today.
