Driving Miss Daisy

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and Flowery Things

Currently my life is a re-enactment of “Driving Miss Daisy”.  I, of course, am the star of the show, Miss Daisy.  The role of Hoke (Miss Daisy’s driver) is being played by a myriad of different actors – basically anyone I can get to take me where I need to go.  I had surgery in December resulting in a cast on my left leg that prohibits me from driving.  So…  here I am.  Miss Daisy.

Earlier this week, I shared a daisy ring with you.  Daisies are my favorite flower.  They’re so happy!  I absolutely have to share this daisy pendant with you.

This pendant was included in my “Twelve Gifts of Christmas” series.  I am shocked that we still have this little gem.  It’s made by “Tiffany & Co”.  Constructed from 18 karat rose gold, it features five pear-shaped lavender amethysts and one tiny round diamond center.  Although it has been retired, it is still available at select Tiffany & Co. stores for $1550.00.  Not a bad price for a Tiffany piece.

Two reasons why I can’t believe this piece is still here…  First, it’s adorable.  Rose gold is hugely popular and this is a perfect way to add a bit of it to your jewelry wardrobe.  Here’s the second reason.  Brace yourself.  We have this pendant priced at just $750.00!  Less than half of the original price at Tiffany & Co.  It’s a steal!  Make it yours today.

He loves me, he loves me not…

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and a Daisy Ring

I love daisies, I always have.  As we enter into 2017 – the symbolism of them couldn’t be more appropriate.  Daisies represent new beginnings.

I carried them down the aisle at my wedding, they were woven into my hair…  even my wedding band is an eternal ring of daisies.  I love the bright yellow center against the stark white petals.  I love how the petals seem to grow one over top of the next.  I love every little thing about them.

So, can you guess how I feel about this ring?

Yep.  I love it!  From the warm tone of the Old Mine Cut diamond center to the delicate filigree wirework – it’s perfect.  Of course, my favorite part is the tiny carved flower on either side of the diamond center.

With only four petals, it could be any flower.  In my mind, it’s a daisy.  A daisy is actually two flowers that are harmoniously blended together.  The center petals are the first flower, and the surrounding petals that form the rays are the second flower…  like a new bride and groom on their wedding day.

It’s absolutely lovely as a right hand ring…  I know because I’ve tried it on.  Often.  But, secretly, I would love for some lucky girl to have it as an engagement ring.  Priced at just $1200, someone needs to buy it before I do!

What kind of jewelry do you love?  Drop me an email and tell me about it.  Send it to:  carrie@joden.com.

Put A Ring On It

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and Engagement Rings

There is no better gift for Christmas than a shiny, sparkling diamond engagement ring.  Christmas is a magical holiday all on it’s own – combine that with the promise of a lifetime and a stunning ring – it’s a match made in heaven!

At Joden, we have the perfect engagement ring for everyone.  Modern, vintage, classic, and non-traditional.  Diamonds in every shape and size.  Gold in every color – white, yellow, and rose.  Platinum, too!  The possibilities are as endless as the commitment it represents.

The ring on the left is a platinum Art Deco ring from the 1920’s.  Six navette shapes provide just enough detail to highlight the 1.25 carat center stone.  At nearly 100 years old, this ring is the epitome of classic.  It is available on our website now for only $8900.

The ring on the right is a Mid Century beauty.  The transitional modern cut center stone weighs in at .75 carats and is flanked by eight single cut diamonds.  This ring also has a hint of engraving on the shoulders.  When you combine each of these elements with great value (priced at just $4500!), it’s a deal too good to resist.

If you’re looking for a crisp new ring, but love all the details of an Art Deco piece, this is the one for you.  You won’t be able to stop staring at this 1.00 carat center diamond.  Graded as a “D” color, it is among the rarest in the world.  This 18 karat white gold ring also features eight custom cut natural blue sapphires, six fully faceted round diamonds, filigree wirework, and intricate engraving.  This showstopper is available now on our website for $11,050.

Take some of that Christmas magic and make it your own with a ring from Joden Jewelers.

We have two more days of holiday hours.  Our showroom is open today and tomorrow from 9am-8pm with select hours on Christmas Eve.  As always, our website is available 24/7 with free overnight shipping to ensure holiday delivery.
