Joe’s Special Box – Volume 115

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and A Collector’s Things

Today we honor all the men and women who have died in the service of the United States Military.  Proud and fierce, they stood tall to protect our great country…  the land of the free, the home of the brave.  From sea to shining sea, flags will be placed on gravestones and the patriotic words of our national anthem will be sung in every city and small town in America.

Crafted from 9 karat yellow gold in the 1860’s, this tiny ring is bursting with symbolism.  The three leaf clover in the center is a widely recognized representation of three things…  faith, love and loyalty.  Many also believe the three leaves signify the Holy Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  For me, it’s both.  The two interpretations are synonymous – one meaning the very same thing as the other.

Additionally, our nation’s colors are showcased using a red ruby, a white diamond, and a blue sapphire.  This trio of bold hues are also deeply rooted in symbolism:

Red – Hardiness and Valor

White – Purity and Innocence

Blue – Vigilance, Perseverance, and Justice

Every time I hear the opening notes of The Star Spangled Banner, I feel my heart swell with pride.  My skin prickles with goosebumps…  patriotism.  Being the daughter of an Army Veteran, each word resounds with me as does every aspect of this ring.  If you love it as much as I do, it’s available now for just $325.00.

“And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!”

Joe’s Special Box – Volume 111

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and A Collector’s Things

Okay, sofa shoppers…  this one is just too good.  Grab your phone and your credit card.  I promise this sweet little number from Joe’s Special Box will be gone long before the stay-home order is lifted.  Don’t hesitate or you’ll miss it!  I fell in love with it from the minute I discovered it.  Every little detail sings in perfect harmony.

An oval cabochon garnet sits center stage in this Victorian sweetheart.  The purplish hue of the stone is exquisitely complemented by the halo surrounding it.  Fourteen tiny white seed pearls create the ideal amount of contrast, accenting the center stone to perfection.  It’s not overdone.  The design is simple and oh-so-sweet.

The ring itself is constructed from 14 karat yellow gold, adding a warm glow to the piece.  Priced right at $695, this ring won’t last long.  If you’re as enchanted as I am…  get on the phone!  Call us at 1-800-747-7552 to purchase now!

Joe’s Special Box – Volume 90

Joden Girl

Baubles, Bling, and A Collector’s Things

Do you love giving and receiving jewelry but aren’t sure what to get?  For the next three weeks, we are sharing our Holiday Gift Guide.  Every piece will be listed on our site.  This week’s theme is rose gold – this caché of treasures is loaded with gift worthy items including these two beauties from Joe’s Special Box.

This pair of Victorian rings have some striking similarities.  Each one was made near the end of the 19th century, approximately 1885.  They both feature artfully engraved patterns that are accented with tiny beaded edges and they both have diamond centers.

Fourteen karat rosy gold has been hand sculpted into this beautifully feminine solitaire diamond ring.  Six claw-style prongs hold the .25 carat Old European Cut diamond in place.  Trumpet belled shoulders fade into a delicately etched shank.  This super sweet gem would make an ideal engagement ring – it’s available now for $675.00.

Also crafted from 14 karat rosy gold, this unisex band ring showcases textural patterns on the shoulders.  A botanical vibe combines with linear patterning to create a unique find.  Add in a tiny diamond center, and it’s absolute perfection.  Someone on your list would love this antique beauty for just $240.00

Tune in every Monday and Friday to see what else pops up on the Joden Gift Guide!  Who needs elves when you have us?
